Venturing behind the scenes to the creating of the Forbidden Forest area of the Tour, we are greeted with the imposing form of Hagrid, the half-giant. Standing at an imposing 8ft 6" tall, this character needed a tailor-made mannequin built from scratch to the physcial dimensions of Hagrid himself. The placement, outfits and look was concepted and approved, then brought to fruition by the carefully selected team of hair & make-up, costume and installation that gave him his place next to the animatronic man-eating spiders creating the eerie setting with his lamp and the fog machines.
